India- The Multilingual Democratic Country

Hi friends, as I am out of the state I am not well-informed about the current affairs, especially Hindi negation issues of Tamilnadu. Of course, I can learn from the digital media, but I don’t have enough Time to scroll the news. Indeed face book and LinkedIn is ruling me.

When I came across trolls in FB and YouTube, I was repelled. I also heard that, Hindi texts have been added to the Kilometer stones of National highways.

Prior inscribing, I would like to convey “Sorry in Advance” if my Views are contradictory. India is a secular country where we can find different religions, languages, traditions and customs. If we go out of our Nation, we are called as “Indians” not as “Tamils” or “Malayalis”. Let me put forward the history of Tamil and Hindi.

Tamil

Tamil is one of the oldest Dravidian languages widely spoken by the people of Tamilnadu, Pudhucherry and Sri lanka. It is also a recognized minority language of the countries like Malaysia, Mauritius and South Africa.

Being an official language of Tamilnadu and Pudhucherry, it is acknowledged as one of the Languages of Education system in Malaysia along with Malay, English and Mandarin.

I take pride to mention that, Tamil is one of the 22 official languages of India.

A report states that Tamil-Brahmi inscriptions of 500 BC have been discovered in Adichanallur, an Archaeological site in Thoothukudi district of Tamilnadu.

The Sangam literature, an earliest Literature of Tamilnadu is dated from ca. 300 BC to AD 300. This relates the existence of Tamil language over 3000 years ago.

Thirukkural, one of the classic literature of Tamil consists of 1330 Kurals dealing with the daily virtues of an Individual. Authored by Thiruvalluvar, it is one of the significant works written on morality and secular ethics.

In the year 1997 and 2005,UNESCO Memory of the World register acknowledged that one among the earliest manuscripts from India is written in Tamil language.

During the Portuguese establishment (1498- 1661) in India, Portuguese Christian Missionaries issued a Tamil prayer book called “Thambiraan Vanakkam” thus making Tamil as the first Indian language to be published.

According to the Hindu ethics, Tamil was framed out by the Lord Shiva and Tamil people worship Lord Murugan as their Tamil God.

The Ascent of the Tamil varies from district to district and that adds beauty to the language. Tamil has 12 Vowels, 18 consonants and one special character. Tamil vowels and consonants combine to form 216 compound Characters, giving the Total of 247 Characters (12+18+1(12*18)).

Hindi

Hindi is the Official language of Government of India. It is an extensively spoken language in the major Indian States such as Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Himachal Pradesh, Haryana, Madhya Pradesh, Jharkhand, Rajasthan, Uttarkhand and Utter Pradesh.

The Best thing about Hindi is it is one of the four most spoken languages in the World, while other languages include English, Spanish and Mandarin.

Hindi is the official language of Fiji Republic and it is also spoken broadly by the Madheshis(People who are migrated from northern part of India) of Nepal.

Hindi is spoken in other countries like Nepal, USA, Fiji, South Africa, Suriname, Uganda, UK, Germany, New Zealand, Singapore and Trinidad and Tobago.

Hindi, considered as a descendant of sanskrit is written in devanagari (Alpha-syllabary) script. This script consists of 11 Vowels and 33 Consonants & is written from left to right.

Hindi literature is divided into four styles such as Bhakti(Devotional), Shringar (Beauty), Virgatha (Braveness of the Warriors) and Adhunik(modern).

Semantically, Hindi and Urudu are the two archives of the same Language.  Hindi uses Sanskrit words whereas Urudu uses Arabic-Persian words.

Hindi is an expressive language and it conveys emotions in Gentle words. Initially, Hindi arose as Apabhramsha and later by 10^th century, it became stable.

The renowned poets of Hindi literature are Tulsidas who wrote Ramcharitamanas and Kabir whose writings influenced Hinduism’s Bhakti movement.

The remarkable Literature of Hindi includes Guru Granth Sahib, also called as Adi Granth is more than a Scripture of Sikhs. They respect the Granth(Holy book of Sikhs) as their living Guru.

Hope I didn’t make you bored by taking back to the Indian History. Both Hindi and Tamil have its own significance. While Tamil is the oldest among Dravidian languages, it is easy to learn & so everybody prefers to learn Tamil. Besides this, Hindi is spoken by the major states of India. It is useful to learn Hindi while travelling across India.

To me, both Hindi and Tamil are the stepping stone to meet the new people, new environment,  enjoy the new culture and traditions. Multi lingual skills are an added essence to one’s resume as well as the Life.

The Travelers has no limits and everyone likes to travel away from their Home town, by pausing their day to day life and they tend find the Happiness in Travel. They feel convenient when they come across the Travelling Location in their Mother tongue. 

This helps them to avoid much confusion as they are away from their own people. I agree with this but I will not give up my “Thaai Mozhi” for the sake of others. I feel Proud to be a Tamilian.

A Trip to Poovar Island

Separated by 484.9 Kms, I miss my Family, personally my Mom’s support, homemade food and my Warm-hearted pets. I hope I will go to my Native next week, LOL, counting the Days to Rock!! As the result of my continuous trauma, my dad had come to meet me Last weekend. We had been to Poovar Island, which is an Ideal tourist spot for a Short trip.

With an oscillating mindset, I and my Bestie reached hotel Aryaas Park to meet my Dad. The Savour of Mango juice made me to stay active throughout the trip. After the long discussion, we finally decided to go to Poovar Island. To be frank, I like the Kerala tourism, their approach and Cleanliness. The best part is Tourism department of Kerala is Off on Monday as the Weekends are thronged with Tourists. The Govt Hotel in which my Dad stayed was also Neat and clean. Yea, we reached Aruna Backwaters by 1:20PM and we started our Boat travel by 2:00PM. The Places covered in that package were: Golden sand beach, Elephant Rock and Anaconda Forest. There were some “Boat shops” on the way to Beach, where we can get Snacks and Water bottles. After covering all the spots, we reached back by 4 PM. I just wanna pin point one thing, if you are going as a Group, go ahead or else you have to afford your deep pockets.

Like Alice, I was in a Wonderland, where I came across Greenish trees, bushes, flowers including poisonous fruits like Pine apple and Mango. It was so called Poisonous as it was grown in Water. I must jot down one thing, those trees and Fruits are the integral gift of God. I was confused with one thing, “How do these plants grow?” Sounds Logical or silly?

We reached Beach by 2:30 PM. After ordering Lunch in a Floating Restaurant, we spent some time in admiring the beauty of Nature- Beach, an Elephant Rock, the Sculpture of Mother Mary holding her Son Jesus, a Cross (We saw it from long distance and so we couldn’t frame out what it exactly is) and Anaconda forest (mangrove).

The best part of this Trip is, CONFLUENCE of Neyyar River and Golden sand beach. I like the Coffee-brown Foam which is formed from the Waves due to mud. It was so pleasant and I tried to hold the sandy Foam in my Hand. I have read in Tamil Poem about this Confluence but this is the first time, watching the association of 2 water bodies. I felt the infinite Happiness with that. Excitement was overloaded throughout the day!!

My Favorite 6 in Two Years of Chennai Life

Before coming to Chennai for higher studies, my one and only favorite place is Coimbatore. I had never stayed out apart from my Home. I took my PG Course as a weapon to travel long miles from my Home for my Career. Indeed, I succeeded too. My Name card has changed from Reserved to Foodie and Talkative. I feel grateful to Chennai city for helping me to Transform myself into an Optimistic young Lady!!

The Grand Mall, Velachery

Situated in Velachery, the Hub of Chennai, The Grand Mall is a compact Shopping mall widely known for Chennai people through PVR cinemas. As my Workplace and Hostel was nearby, I regularly visit the Grand Mall weekly once. I feel delighted wandering nook and corner of the Mall. It has 4 floors with Top brand shops. My favorite shop was “The Joint” where you can get Organic Tea and good Sandwiches. I watched 2 Tamil movies with my Friends and that was an amazing Experience.

Senthoor

Personally, I like senthoor hotel because I often have Breakfast with my Friend. It located opposite to the Savoury Sea Shell Restaurant. We like the morning breakfast combo, that too, Food shared is Happiness doubled. You can find good Combos and Evening Chats in senthoor. In fact, I named my FB page as “Onion Rings” after conceiving a Snacks item from Senthoor.

Sathyam

The best place to watch the Good movies. We usually go for sathyam monthly once. It is located in Royapettah, very nearer to DMS bus stop. We had ridiculous Experiences during the movie like Maya with Onion Flavored Popcorns!!  As it was nearer to my Hostel during my PGDiploma, we frequently visit Sathyam for its good ambiance and effects. Wanna Watch Good Movies? Sathyam will be the Best Choice.

Express Avenue

One among the largest Mall in Chennai, it has lots and lots of Shops and good Food Court. I personally like Big Bazaar, MAX and food court. Bored in Weekends? Take a visit to EA enjoy Window shopping with a sip of Coffee in CCD. Inox is an added Essence. EA is the Best hang out place for us during Weekend.

Mylapore Temple

Mylapore Temple is my favorite temple in Chennai, where you can find many foreigners equally comparing other places in the City. This temple was built during the Period of Tuluva Dynasty.  I feel a kind of calmness visiting this Historical temple. Especially, I like the Prashadham, a Sakkarai Pongal and Puliyodharai which will be delicious to the core!!

Semmozhi Park

It is built during the period of Dr. Kalaignar as a momentum of Semmozhi Manadu. It is a good park where you can find many Green trees which eradicate the existence of Sun rays. It was a well-maintained park with good snacks facility. It is the Best place for family and friends, especially for Students.

After several Blogs, The Samosa Lover is here to share her interests. I never thought that I will become a blogger.

At this moment, I feel delighted that I overcome sorrows and overwhelming Happiness through this Blog.

I write what I feel, explore and interested with. That too I never take more than Half an hour to narrate my Happiness Hunts. Of course, it takes 4hours or 5 to understand some peculiar topics like history.

I am not a Content Queen. But I wish that my blog should be a popular one and so I push my blogs into the Google Stack.

I am not at least in number even though I stand last in the contest of content queen. uh-huh, My Dream is under Construction.

I like writing short descriptions for Social media Post. FYI, I jot down unique FB and Whatsapp status, that makes my friends baffle. LOL.

I am a Wizard in making pakka-pakka plans be it for savings, trips or regular works. Of course, I feel lazy to execute it. That's Human nature.

The real Happiness is making other to feel happy because of us. I do and like to see my Friends blush, especially on their special occasions. I like Surprising the Special ones.

I like Pets and I do have 2 naughty Dalmatians, who are the main reason for my survival. Dogs are the best companion for an isolated person.

Cool, I can ensure one thing; I am not the one who used to be a couple of years ago. The Name of my second version is "First four-letter of my Full name".

Each and every person will come across a day, in which they realize who they are and what their Capabilities are. I had come across the day by which I realized my Spirit, my Passion and who the Friends are.

Friends- Some people were like Mirage, they stayed, they taught what the Life is, They left and of course, I communicate rarely. I am matured enough to handle the Situation.

I learnt, Friends are not the whole Life but Besties are a Family. Besties bring Rainbow to an Individual's life.

I feel grateful to my Family, Bestie and some special friends who motivate me to lead a Healthy Life.

Eat what you like, enjoy the whole Life with limits. Win the competition of your own Life.

My Digital Marketing Survey

Business

I have conducted a Short survey based on Digital Marketing, particularly about User experience, Ads and How well the People are active, online. Based on my First question followed by second, When you search for anything on Google, have you ever noticed “Ads”?  I perceive that Most of the Internet users are aware of Advertisements displayed on the SERP. My Report states 70% of the People don’t click the Ads and some people also told me that, they clicked by Mistake. I reckon, they might have been misguided that, “They are just ads, sometimes spammy”

I kept 2 situations among People, Will go directly to the E-commerce site to purchase Kurti or you will search for “Kurtas Online”? 99% of the people stated that they search on the Ecommerce sites only. This proved that the efforts of E-commerce sites took to build the Brand, of course, Quality and Delivery support matters.

My 4^th Question was, “Have you ever tried to find the Information on Google beyond 3^rd Page?” People reported that they prefer 1^st 3 Pages and rarely do they move beyond the 3^rd page. Yup, it’s a Human nature, When I was a Student, I never searched beyond 2^nd Page. So, People are interested in finding their Interests until 3^rd Page of the Google, what about you?

I received the Chorus response for a couple of my Questions. 100% of the People whom I conducted the Survey tells that they use Mail frequently and they People prefer only Google, Whatsapp and FB as their Social interest, No surprises. So, It will be beneficial for the Business people to stay in touch with the Audiences through the Social medias like Google and Facebook. To be frank, Brand building through social media is a slow process. But it did work.

Acquiring Customers, generating revenues through Digital Marketing strategies is a Gentle process and it needs Time and more efforts. If you are a Startup, it is recommended to start your promotion with content sharing and Social media. Start working on PPCs and Facebook Ads from the moment you feel that your Site is Optimized and you had Content-based Back links from the Standard sites.

SEO and Content touch are must to a site as it pushes the Organic results and I bet that sometimes your Organic results are Constant.

Raja Raja Cholan

As my Bestie Suggested, with the deep research, I am here to narrate about Chola Dynasty. The Chola Kingdom is known for the Longest-ruling empire among other Tamil dynasties. Left by Ashoka, the Great Mauryan King, Tamilnadu was ruled by Cholas from 3^rd century BCE until 13^th Century. 

River Kaveri helped the people of Chola Dynasty to thrive with Good wealth through Agriculture. The districts of Chola Kingdom include Karaikkal, Nagapattinam, Pudukkottai, Tanjavur, Trichirapallii and Tiruvarur.  

Urayur (Now under Tiruchirapalli) was the Capital of Early Chola Kingom. Later on, Medieval Cholas moved to Thanjavur and Rajendra Chola 1 made Gangai Konda Cholapuram as the Chola Capital during 11^th century.

Chola Dynasty

Raja Raja Chola 1 was a famous king who ruled Chola dynasty between 985 and 1014 CE. It was during his period the chola kingdom set its rule beyond the South India from Sri Lanka in the South to Kalinga in the North. Malabar Coast and Maldives were captured as the result of Raja Raja Chola’s massive naval campaigns.

One among the largest hindu temples of India, UNESCO world heritage site Brihadeeswarar Temple, Thanjavur was built by Raja Raja Chola. During his rule, the text literature of the famous poets Appar, Sambandar and Sundarar were collected into a unique compilation called Thirumurai. Raja Raja Chola was succeeded by his Son Rajendra Chola.

Raja Raja Chola- Birth

Raja Raja Chola was born in 947 in the Aipassi month according to the Tamil calendar. He was born on the day of sadhayam star. His parents were Parantaka Sundara Chola and Vanavan Maha Devi of Velir Malayaman dynasty. His birth name was Arulmozhi varman. Raja raja chola was the 3^rd Son to his Parents. Aditya Karikalan, the crown prince of chola kingdom was assassinated in unsure circumstances in the year 969. After Aditya’s death, Raja Raja Cholan’s father, Parantaka Sundara Chola announced Uttama Chola, his cousin will succeed him. Later in the year 985, Arulmozhi Varman ascended the chola throne after the death of Uttama Chola. Arulmozhi Varman adopted his name as “Raja Raja Cholan” which literally means “King of Kings”. The history states that, Raja Raja was also known as Raja Raja Sivapada Sekhara which means, he who had the feet of Lord Shiva as his crown. Raja Raja, the fiery follower of the Lord Shiva, accepted the faith and creeds of other Religions too. He encouraged to build Buddhist Chudamani Vihara as requested by Srivijaya King, Sri Maravijayatungavarman.

Raja Raja’s Military force:

At his capital city, thanjavur Raja raja utilized finite number of years in building a robust Army. Raja raja created a strong Army as well as an appreciable Navy. The details about his war forces were inscribed in the thanjavur inscriptions.  His regiments were divided into Cavalry, Elephant troops and Infantry, each of these troops had their own sovereignty.

During his earlier vanquishment, he attacked the armies of Pandyas as well as Cheras, though there was no significant information regarding his earlier conquests.

My Dear Spooky Sisso...

My dear Darling!

Congratulations on your new Job! Lub you my dear little Princess. I wish you should Glow & Grow in your career forever. I am Happy that a new Life has been started with loads and loads of Expectations. Try to achieve the Goal honestly with the studious approach. Sometimes, I will try to save the money that results in inability often. Later, I understood that if a Person is Confident & Hardworking, he can move forward without savings. I am not telling about emergency Savings dear.

There is a Saying, “Nobody is perfect and I am nobody”! Nowadays I am not Perfect and expecting my Friends to be Perfect darl, because Perfection is a unique Habit which can be either followed or not followed. I know, you are the Queen of your Own Kingdom. You have certain etiquettes and Practices. Yet, I would like to narrate few things in terms of Computer usages and Internet. These advice may be a Common thing, but I wish you should Improve!

Maintain an Official Email Id and secondary ID for Social Medias like Google, FB and your favorite game. This helps you to remember your Password and avoids mail ambiguity.

If you are happened to use Mail or Social media in third person’s devices, please open in “Incognito window/Private Browsing” of the Web browser. This will save you from Hackers if you have forgotten to Log out.

Sometimes you may Change the Phone or Sim. Am I right? Try to save your Contacts in Google mail(G Contacts). You Contacts will be available until you delete your Mail account.

Try to update the selective posts as Public. This will avoid unnecessary Comments and Misleads.

Be engaged in your Channel or Blog. Try to post the Useful information and gather Visitors. By this strategy, you will be engaged with the Society.

Buddha Poornima

We have learnt many fruitful information about Buddhism in English as well as History textbooks. Haven’t we? Today I take this moment to share some facts about Buddhism, as we celebrate Buddha Poornima(Buddha’s Birthday). Buddhism is an Indian religion which portrays the beliefs, traditions and spiritual practices based on the Preachings of the Lord Buddha.

Buddhism was originated, 2500 years ago in Ancient India between 6^th and 4^th century B.C. Though it was declined in India during the medieval age, Buddhism was widely spread around the Asian continent through Ancient Kings.

Buddhism is based on the Teachings of a young Indian Prince Gautama Siddharta. Buddha was born in Lumbini district of Nepal. It is said that the Young Prince started searching for the Peace and enlightenment besides the royal life because of 3 incidents which he came across.

Buddha achieved the Enlighten spark underneath the Bodhi tree in Bodhgaya (Bihar).

Speaking about the Divisions of Buddhism, there are two, namely: Theravada and Mahayana. Being the World’s 4th largest religion, it has 500 Million disciples around the World.

The Ultimate aim of Theravada followers is to attain the state of Nirvana, which is achieved by practicing Golden Eightfold Path. Theravada was widespread in the region of Srilanka and South East Asia.

Whereas, Mahayana widely followed in East Asian countries, insists the Buddha wood through Bodhisattva - Motivates other Human beings to awake & aspire through Six paramitas. Buddhists view Buddha as Teacher and not as a God.

Do you remember who spread Buddhism?

After the battle of Kalinga, the king Ashoka from the Mauryan empire spread Buddhism with the support of his Buddhist wife. That really worked and Ashoka sent ambassadors including his children to other Countries to spread Buddhism.

There are lots of things to learn about Buddhism, Buddhist principles, and practices. I suppose it needs quite a passion for learning & following Buddhism.

Happiness Hunt

Know what? I was pampered with 101% of Care and Affection. My Parents never let me to Try new things, I mean, They protected me like a Golden angel. They never allowed me alone either for a School tour or Outing with Friends. Initially, I didn’t feel bad about this; because I believe that My Parents’ decisions are Right in terms of my Life. In fact I was reserved until my School life. I tried my Level best & came out of the drawn circle couple of years back. I regained my Confidence when I started studying in CDAC especially in English, Leadership and Managing the society. I must thank my Bestie & Parents who supported and keep Supporting me throughout the Happier occasions and Sad times.

I just wanna inscribe about the Official Tour to Wonderla on last Saturday. Theme Park with Friends is literally new to me. I had been to 2 Theme parks in my City with Family during Schooling. I never experienced Big Rides & Yes; I developed some sort of fear because of several Accidents. That is the Worst part!

We reached Wonder la by 12 PM and I went with my Friend for fewer small rides. To be frank, we comforted each other. Even 5 or 6 Small rides seem to be Gigantic as I didn’t try those pieces of stuff earlier. Know What, I could obviously listen to my Tone as a consequence of my agitation. Note, Agitation because of my uncommonness. ROFL.

The Best part of the Tour which makes me feel Happy and Missing is swimming Pool! I and 2 of my Colleagues were in the Swimming pool as we didn’t go for few water Rides. We three enjoyed a lot staying in Pool, trying to swim and playing with waves. I loved it!! We felt a Kind of relaxation. I personally miss other Friends who were on some other activities. Of course, Unity makes a Group Ridiculous and Strong. Sadness apart, Happiness was extremely overloaded on Saturday. The Best part I could tell is, the sleepless Adventurous Journey, Chit chats, and Trolls!!

I can bet you, Next time, I will try all the Rides with Eyes & Hands Open. Lolzz!!

Mahishmati & Bahubali

Did you watch Bahubali Movie? Absolutely, it is a Nice historical movie with historical & technological impact. Hope you might have heard about Mahishmati kingdom, right? Yup, A City called Mahishmati existed in ancient times. Find the interesting facts about Mahishmati kingdom here.

It was an ancient city located in the Central part of India.

The information about this city was mentioned in ancient scripts & it might have thrived until 13^th century as stated by Parampara inscription.

In olden days, this city was the well-known city in the Southern part of Avanti dynasty and it was also served as a Capital city of Anupa dynasty.

Currently, this city is located on the banks of river Narmada in the state of Madhya Pradesh, whilst the exact location is uncertain.

Facts:

It was located connecting the two popular cities called Ujjayini & the northern part of Pratishthana. Patanjali reveals that a Traveler from Ujjayini saw the Sunrise at Mahishmati.

Avanti dynasty was divided into two alongside Mt.Vindhyas, Ujjayini was in North while Mahishmati was in South.

Some places in MP state alongside river Narmada are declared to be the Ancient Mahishmati.

This city was also mentioned in the epic Ramayana. Ravana, who reigned over Srilanka attacked Mahishmati during the rule of Kartavirya Arjuna.

I couldn’t find the exact details about the King Bahubali. But the man named Bahubali is famous among Jains.

There is a Story state that, Bahubali defeated his elder brother, but with the broad vision, he gave back the defeated places to his brother & went to Meditate on God for inner Peace. He helps his fellow man to enrich their lives with the Light he received. Bahubali is an ideal man who thrashes selfishness, jealousy, pride and anger.

It is also stated that the magnificent figure of Gommateshwara at Shravanabelagola in the state of Karnataka is that of Bahubali.
