My days were dark, blank and clueless. My isolated soul had set its foot with thousands of confusions about career and city life. I was excited exaggerated during the inauguration of our course.

Unfortunately, the strength of the course was 10 and it was decreased by 8 later. It is neither a good luck nor bad luck. I had very Good friends; my days were glorious and I learnt a practical lesson every day. Right from traveling in a crowded bus to traveling alone. It was a drastic change in the routine of my life. My days were magical and splendid in Chennai with friends, especially YOU.

You are the one whom I much cared about, thought about and of course dreamt of!!

I remember the very first week of our class, I was stout (!!) and giggling for every answer. No one was aware of my hidden fear about my career behind those clueless giggles. In fact, I had already seen you in social media when I browsed about our course. You seemed to be MASS!! Aren’t you?

I had already told you about the insults I faced in class. Should I mention those funny stuffs? (ROFL)You are the one who had supported me to come across those immature messes.

The seeds you had sown extend its branches with yet to ripen fruits.

By the month of April,a couple of years ago your name in my contacts got a prefix as “Best Friend” and it was preceded by other contacts.

You are my Best Friend then and forever!

Glympse of Love

The days spent with you were memorable and I still remember that funny incident; we went to Mutt thinking that it is a temple and came back seeing few elders.

One more thing, you taught me to have fast food, especially Samosas in Senthoor during android hours were awesome.

Do you really want to know when did I fall for your Friendship deeply?

The day we went to an Orphanage for one of my friend’s birthday. It was then I started admiring your nature.

Happiness Hunt

We started exploring new places in Chennai after August- Nungampakkam CCD, temple, Brownie heaven, Papa John, and so on. Countless na?

Do you remember the day, when I had Sakkara Pongal in Durga temple located at Anandh theatre?

I liked to spend time with you, discovering Chennai, sharing thoughts – I was out of fear and hesitation.  I improved!! You made me to improve!

I am still longing to pick that “Brinjal shade” outfit for you, in which you looked Awesome that day. Aww!! That day was ridiculous na? We searched for additional stuffs, to avail a gift worthy “Estelle stud”.

After completing our Courses, when I joined as an HTML-5 trainee, I was scared that, we couldn’t catch up like before. But you made my days, specials by traveling 15kms for me.

The time you were in Bangalore was difficult to me but I waited for 2 days in a month to meet you, to spend time and to visit our favorite places.

I was longing to give Surprises too. The best moment would be, visiting your place in the early morning as a Surprise and I still remember that 1000 watts smile you made, seeing me.

It was that “gap” which made me to shift to Kerala!

Now, my dear Bestie, we are at next level of our Life to prove our capacities, improve ourselves with each other’s support. Our mission is in “Running” state too.

This anniversary, I promise you that, I will stay Happy and spread smile as much as I can, for the sake of Doughnuts!! (Lol)

Glimpse of Happiness

As I told you earlier, I write “Happiness Hunt” for my satisfaction and it enhances my Happiness and writing skills with pride. Today, I write this blog with a Gratification on perceiving a sort of relief and Joy. 

Shanni!! She is my Blood mate, an arrogant Friend and the Best adviser ever. The bond we share is unique, but we are there for each other, anytime.

We are Spooky Sisters whom everyone astonish about, be it a look or a nature. We fight, shout, battle but we always care for each other, love each other.

Those childhood days were awesome and I felt a motherly feel when I hold her on my Lap until we reach home in Auto. She always used my innocence and blackmailed me for few stuffs, that is different story altogether.

Sometimes, we plan for a trip together in one morning, we fight for silly issues by afternoon and by night we blame our family members. We are not perfect; we are inimitable, just like everyone else.

Since 3years, we seldom contact in phone or meet due to her studies and my work nature. But, when we get time to have a word, we share our happiness and support in hard times.

I am longing to spend long-leave with my Family, having fun, fighting and teasing each other.

Rakhi Bujji - The best relief to my family in our absence as they possess the same nature, superseding us.

Today I feel a sigh of comfort and Solace because, my little angel has got placed in a renowned Hotel in Rock/Metal Capital of India. I reckon, besides several struggles and discomforts she did achieve the best, which suits her. I believe that, she will achieve her primary Goal very soon with confidence.

Hey Blood mate, I am Happy for You Shannima, I know that you will not listen to my Advice and so I am not going to do that. But, as your innocent elder sister, I would like to share few Tips (!).  I had already shared few words while you got that part time job right? Something I Lost

While I was perplexed about my next Blog topic, I came across an impressive title, “Something you lost”. I have only hand for things I have lost and when I think about that right now, I Smile.

My Childhood

As I have already narrated about my childhood in previous blogs, I don’t want to trouble you with the lengthy paragraph. Elder children are always calm (then) comparing the crazy younger ones. And so, I was. I was pampered until by 20years of age, TBF. I didn’t have an own liking in those days as I always agree with my parents. I believe, this is one of the drawbacks of 90s reserved kids.

Friends

My readers knew that I was fond of friends and Friendship. Latter was an emotional part of my life (then). I believed pampered friendship to an extreme level and that was taken as advantage or a reason to neglect me. May be I was wrong then. But few questions were left unanswered by my Friends.

Something I lost?! But I found the real self .

Trips and Excursions

Every year, there will be paid tour in my school, in which students get chances to visit Kerala, Chennai, etc. I never got a chance as my parents didn’t allow me anywhere even to the outing with friends until I crossed 20. There were days, I lied my home and visited my friend’s home with classmates, watched Nanban and 7m Arivu movies. Later, I confronted to my mom as she is my best friend. And other thing I missed was Family tour, due to Appa’s busy schedules and Amma’s illness; we had been to the tour only 3 to 4 times.

Weight

Chennai has changed me a lot both physically and mentally. I had lost weight!! I wish to go there right now. Yup, want to reduce few Kgs too(Wink).

Finally, to conclude:

I have lost my very own towel, this morning. It was my favorite one and 2 two of friends were fond of that material too. Today, to my bad luck, I saw the empty clips hung on the string without the Towel.

The Kite Runner: For You a Thousand Times Over

Hi friends, basically I am a Book lover. I like to read books and I had a broad collection of novels and motivational books which enhanced my Almirah. Now, I had started reading the selected number of books because, I couldn’t imagine the western touch and few sad endings. I had a fantasy of writing a story in my childhood and hope I would start in near future.

What do a Beginner require to start a Novel? A Life Experience, a System, and a Conducive Environment!!

My Dad, who is a Junior Engineer habituated me to read (good) books especially from the motivational genre. He is fond of reading Books related to health and Science. My Mom, a Gold Medalist from Commerce background is fond of Indra Soundarrajan and Ramani Chandran novels.

A few months ago, my Bestie presented me 2 books. One is “Love stories that touched my Heart” and another one is “The Kite Runner”. After completing the foremost one, I started reading “The Kite runner”.

I would like to share few key points on “The Kite Runner” which is the best seller novel over years.

The Story is based on 2 boys from Pashtun and Hazara background (Pashtuns belonged to upper class and Hazarus were servants, according to 1970s).

One among the 2 boys, named Amir belongs to Pashtuns and he loves reading books like his mother.

Hassan is an uneducated kid from Hazara family who is brave, a good Kite Runner and known for slingshots.  He does anything for his Amir and his Baba.

The characteristics of these 2 boys illustrate the behaviors of two brothers in a family. While one child is calm, reserved and cowardice other one is bold and active.

Baba!! Amir’s father, this character also suitably represents a common dad who is workaholic and atheist.

This book also tells us about the condition of Kabul in mid 70s and 80s. The appropriate narration of wars, riots, homicides were very frightening and touching.

The superiority of pashtuns over hazaras, and the rise of soviet war and taliban regime in Afghanistan were sensible.

The life of Afghan refugees in California, their behaviors and standard of living were inscribed flawlessly.

Childhood friendship!! The author has narrated the essence of childhood friendship with extreme sensation.

The feelings of Son during his father’s last days- Memories of Dad and the days without him.

A Child’s expectation of love and affection from his father and his envy on Hazara friend who was cared by his father were picture perfect.

The Redemption part was magnificent.

Chennai Rain: December Showers

I came across few trolls on Chennai rain and I wore a pleasant smile as it was humorous and thoughtful. Chennai rain is something special to me and whenever September approaches, I always remember about the fantastic Chennai life.

Nada 2015

I was happy by the month of October as I had dual shots of happiness. Yes, one was about my Birthday celebrated at Blue Print IT and another one was my job. With lots of fantasy, I headed to Pune with friends, where I enjoyed the companionship with my Bestie, Arul, and Madhu. I experienced the true happiness, affection, care, jealous, selfishness in 10 days. I was expected to join my job by November and so I did. I felt the pain of missing friends and a normal life as I was 20kms away from them. Especially I was missing my Bestie, I know that we will rarely meet. Besides distance, my bestie visited my place daily to spend time with me. I was feeling supportive as I barely know the place where I was working. Everything seemed new to me. The rain started its trailer right from the month of November; I didn’t know that Nada would ruin the city. Besides the continuous rain, I was enjoying the climate visiting malls, movies, eating delicious food with my Bestie. Meanwhile, my hostel mates were very supportive and our area is hardly affected. My dad took me to my Hometown as a result of boasting news and publicities about the rain. It was where I realized my affection, sewing seeds to SAYA!!

Vardha was also close to my Heart as I learnt to survive in Cyclone without anyone’s support. Velachery flew in heavy rain and OLA supplied boats to relocate from affected areas. During the month of November, it was difficult to book a taxi and that was the time when Demonetization emerged.  It was very hard to stay without mobile, power, water and especially proper Food. I was staying in the hostel all time. When I proceeded to Hometown due to poor Internet connectivity and power, the Rain stopped and the current was supplied to my area (Lolzz). Even though I enjoyed spending time with hostel mates colleagues, I was missing my Bestie as I couldn’t explore Velachery with him during those days.

Safety measures during Rain: 

We are unsure about the complexity of the rain in December, and so let us act proactively to safeguard ourselves from Flood!!

• Pack a bag with important items in case you need to leave your house due to flood. For example, safety medicines, daily medications, certificates, prescriptions, Identity cards, dresses, torch lights etc.

• Switch off the electronic utilities (refrigerator, washing machine etc.) or valves during rain.

• If you have to walk in rainwater on roads, walk where the water is not moving. Use a stick to check the tendency of the ground in.

• Save the water in containers for future use.

• Preserve the food which requires no refrigeration and cooking.

• Keep the sufficient amount in hands, because the status of the ATM is unpredictable during rain.

• People, who are staying in Hostels or Independent room, prefer to stay with friends in houses or flats of 2 stories height (prevents damage). Preferably, take a long leave and go to your Hometown.

Meanwhile, don't forget to support your people, who are in trouble during rain.
