Jewelry holds a special place in most women’s hearts. It’s not just an accessory — it’s an emotion, a celebration, and often, a long-awaited dream. After five years, we finally saved up a good amount and decided to buy a small piece of jewelry for myself — something meaningful and close to heart.

We’ve always had a fondness for Kerala-based jewelry designs — the craftsmanship, the elegance, the traditional touch — it has always appealed to us. The experience in our hometown was always warm and respectful.

Now that we’re in Bengaluru, we looked for a Kerala-based brand here as well, trusting that same standard of service and quality. So, we visited a popular and reputed jewelry showroom — but sadly, the experience left us disappointed.

The store was overcrowded, especially the gold section. All the customers were packed into a small, congested area. No chairs were offered unless we asked for them, and even a basic courtesy like water was not provided. These may seem like small things, but they go a long way in making a customer feel comfortable and valued.

This made us think back to our hometown experiences, where even small jewelry shops welcomed us with a smile, offered water without hesitation, and patiently helped us choose — regardless of whether we made a purchase.

It shouldn’t matter whether someone buys jewelry worth ₹10,000 or ₹1,00,000. The treatment should be the same.

Though we had selected a piece, we lost the mood to proceed. That joy of purchasing something after years turned into a moment of discomfort. The emotional value behind the purchase was lost in the lack of hospitality.

A Final Note: Hospitality is Marketing

In today’s world, customer experience is marketing. Small gestures like offering water or coffee, giving a balloon to a child, or handing over jewelry in a beautiful branded pouch — they might seem simple, but they create lasting impressions.

These acts don’t just make the customer feel welcome — they build brand memory. They tell your customers: “You matter here.”

People may forget the price or the carat, but they’ll remember how they felt in your store.

In a business built on emotion and celebration, service should never be an afterthought. It's not about grand gestures — it's about thoughtful ones.

2017 was the best year in my Life, because it taught me, what the life is and how the people are. This society is full of people with the matured mentality and dynamic minded. I still upgrade myself to learn the Lessons, the life teaches every minute.  The Day preceding to the year-end was so special to me because it belongs to my Partner in crime. Yup, His Birthday!!

We had a plan to visit Pollachi on my Partner’s Birthday. We were tensed about visiting my place because my family will ask questions on questions. I mean, about his family, food habits and localities. Particularly, Marriage!! The day had come! My dad was on his way to pick us and he asked us to wait in the railway station.

The speaker vocalized,

“Thiruvananthapurathilirundhu Madurai varai sellum Amirtha Express Thadam en 1 il irundhu purappadum samayam xx:yy”

While Soma was admiring our re-modeled Railway station, I felt the pleasant blow of wind in the luminous morning. After few minutes, Dad picked us and we headed towards a Sweetshop. While we were buying sweets, dad bought a Cake as per (our) the plan. As Soma already met my dad, he felt comfortable besides nervousness.

After 15mins of travel, we reached Home. I was surprised to see the balloons hung on the wall.  To his goodness, my Pets didn’t bark at him. After few “How-about”, we had our breakfast.  Soma started getting used to our environment as Amma and Aatha spoke jovially (Mocked me). Besides this, Soma was getting Calls to wish him on his Birthday.  After few conversations and Cake cutting, we had lunch!! Dad, who was busy in his work, visited us for Lunch. We took few selfies with family and walked out for 10 minutes.

Usually, I gift him something useful all the years, but this time, I wanted to present him a Caring family, a responsible dad, a friendly mom, supportive sister-in-law and a Grandma to care, advice and usher. I believe that I had given him the best gifts this month.

He was Excited, I perceived!!

We left to the city in the evening and traveled towards the renowned Shopping mall in our district. I was visiting it for the second time and I hardly knew the shops. We were excited to see the structure of the mall, as it resembled like the malls in Chennai.

We took time and wandered around nook and corner of the mall, tasting a cup of corn. We visited a shop known for Baby Accessories to buy a gift for our friend’s newborn baby. Selecting gifts for newborn is the best ever Happiness in our Life. After finishing our dinner at Food court, Soma left to Chennai and I came back to home from the Railway station with few Good memories to swipe back.

Merry Christmas 2016 at iNFINIX

“Christmas is a season not only of rejoicing but of reflection.”

Hi buddies, I would like to share few words about Christmas 2016 celebrated at Infinix. As you all know, Chennai is my favorite place and so Infinix is. It was me, who initiated a “Christmas” game at the office after hearing about it from my bestie. 

Fortunately, everyone at my office agreed my Idea. Initially, we played it among our friends and later we included the Fresher’s as well.

Let me explain you about the Game:

A team of people should write their name individually on a piece of paper and shuffle it thoroughly. Each person should take a folded paper (names) and check out the names they received. If they received their own name, they need to shuffle it again. Later, everyone should assign a task to the person, whose name they received earlier. One should not reveal their name while allotting the task (We wrote our partner’s name at the other side of the paper to intimate their task). One should do the task promptly and if they fail to do, they must be punished.

Merry Christmas

Out of 2 sessions we played, I would like share few remarkable tasks. I got my colleague Sathya's name twice and the first session was interesting. I asked her to hide footwear of a colleague and it lasts for 1hour. In the second session of the game, I was asked to all the tasks performed on the dice and that was very exciting with the song, dance, and dialogues. I also helped my colleague Archana was asked to dance for a beat. My colleague was asked to perform Alaipayudhe dialogue and so our TL supported him to perform much better. It turned out a big laughter later. We enjoyed those two days with amusement and we gifted our Game partners to appreciate their tasks. Uffhh!! How would I forget the KFC treat? One of our friends was asked to buy a KFC chicken for all of us during the first session of the game. Certainly, that treat was really amazing. I had KFC chicken for the first time and we whole-heartedly appreciated his involvement.

We enjoyed Christmas celebration delightfully and I had gone to my brother Arul’s house for Christmas lunch. Even though we had an office for Christmas, I spend the quality time with friends and Arul’s family. 

An Optmistic Saturday

Hi Buddies, I feel optimistic to write this blog after long days. Hope you people are doing well and I am here to share my Happiness. It had been a month; I was busy in constructing the self to face challenges.  Problems!! Sometimes they stick with us like Fevistick glue, if we react, we would be stuck. If we move on considering it as a daily routine, every day will be ours!! In fact, I have Doughnuts to conceal my problems. It heals and I regain my Confidence! I want to share few ridiculous incidents which had happened last weekend and it indeed boosts my Mind.

My regular Weekend had begun by washing. It is a tedious task ever I would say. The breakfast in my hostel was Poori-the only Tiffen, I hated the most. I convinced my bestie to take me the restaurant, we visit often and I, fortunately, had a Spicy Poda Dossa. Likewise, the tangy Podi added taste to the Dosa and that made me shed tears with Satisfaction!!Followed by Coffee, we left to the hostel to proceed our regular works. After 5 to 6 hours of rest and completion of weekly chores,  We headed to the city to enjoy the Evening gleam of the capital city.

100 Varieties of Dossa

Few experience we face are beyond blamelessness, but it will make your day complete. It was that kind of Evening!! We departed to have Dossa in a famous restaurant that is known for 100 varieties of Dossa in the city. To fulfill all our excitement, the most waited dinner had arrived at your Table!! It was delicious Paper Roast and Innovative Noodles Dossa!!

My Amma always makes the best ever Dossa!! Especially, Dossa and Tomato chutney/ Chicken curry made by her is beyond star hotels. The moment,  I had started eating Paper roast, I thought about Amma!! Anyhow I will have a savory feast this weekend, that is a different story altogether.

Vanilla Scoop

After having Paper roast and luscious Noodles dossa with dry fruits, we ordered Ice creams. At first, we didn't know that an Ice cream will make our day.  The waiter placed 2 scoops of Vanilla ice cream on our table when we were discussing on the Smartphone and selfies. I was enthusiastically looking at selfie which I took a few minutes ago and tended to eat Ice cream!! I tried to taste the last spoon of Ice cream while I was gazing at smartphone and unfortunately, it dropped down(Vada Poche!). A few seconds later, I noticed a boy who watched all these and burst out laughing at me. Bashfully, I told what had happened to my bestie and he too started laughing at me.  Friends, You had missed my reactions Indeed, Lol!

Few funny moments are more than enough to make our Life colorful.

Live the Life to the fullest. Few situations may push you to ruin you. But it is all about, how you react to it.

Hello buddies!! This month is very special to us and is full of gifts and surprises. We had an inspiring anniversary and exciting gifts. Happiness is I surprised my bestie after long days (!). The interesting fact about our day is he stunned me by gifting my favorite Yummy Yummy Chocolates!

The OnePlus 5T is indeed a conqueror among the competitors and it flourishes with advanced features comparing its previous model.

My Smart phone comprises of 6GB RAM and I bought it with few offers applicable to my bank.

I received it with a handset, semi transparent case, dash type-C Cable and Power adapter, SIM tray ejector and a user manual.

As I bought it in Amazon, It holds a year Warranty and a screen protector is available to the pre-applied users only.

I personally liked 18:9 display, it is thin, stunning and I had good feel about the outer panel because of stylish curves. It has an executive look!

The face recognition screen lock is amazing that, the phone is not unlocked if I tend to open it with eyes closed.

I am happy that, I don’t need to wait for hours to get my phone charged. The 100% of battery is obtained in 45mins of time.

I hope 16 MP main sensor and a 20 MP secondary sensor helps me to capture a crazy, delightful and memorable moments. An honest alternative to Digi cams for its admiring camera and video features!!

It has the Dual SIM port and OxygenOS version of Android with extraordinary features (themes, font and icon styles). Do bid good bye to slowdowns with this magnificent Smart Phone which optimizes the OS for better performance!!

Happiness is OnePlus 5T

I am an independent man working in an IT Industry. I am with my girl who always admires my passion and supports (tortures) me to lead a secured life. She did know that, I am a kind of man with a “Take it easy” attitude. The best thing I could tell about her is her love and humor sense. Indeed she is cute and humorous!

I was grown as an independent child and I always struggle to learn Tamil subject. In the class 9, I studied Tamil because of my Tamil mam. She tried hard to teach the subject but I always stand first in Maths rather than the language. I have a Cousin Brother and I always admire his talents and his way of approaching things. To me, He is an all time guide whom I can reach at anytime. He supported me during my hard times and trusted my Knowledge and now I am in my dream designation because of his guidance.

Here I would like to thank my Parents, who supported and helped me in my needs. Their phone calls mean a lot to me and Today, I could find the satisfaction in my dad, every time he looks at me.Every man’s fantasy is to buy his favorite accessories by his own salary. Absolutely mine too!! I was eagerly waiting for One Plus 5T to launch in India, scrolling news feeds and YouTube. Today, I am at a sigh of happiness that, I have ordered my very own and most expected phone!

Where ever I go with my Girl, I explain her about the phone and made her to gain the Interest on that model!! Today, she is waiting to click crazy selfies on One Plus 5T too!! Initially, I was hesitated to take credit cards as I know fewer disadvantages over it. As I don’t have any option, I am incurred to choose this option with the guidance of my Friends. Today, to my surprise, I received my very own credit card and did make an order on One Plus 5T!

I am happy to tell this not because, I boost. Friends, if you have a Heartbeat, there is still time for your dreams. So, dream it and achieve it through tireless endeavors. Everybody is unique and potential. I still have lot more to do with confidence and honesty!! 

(Writing this Snippet with a bundle of Joy!! I felt the same, when I jotted about A Special Gift from Bestie. Inscribing a story or a poem was my childhood goal. For time being I disguised my goal in the form of blogs. Though I have incomplete plans, I stand firm in achieving my Goal too. Of course, achieving something is not like a magic. My days were dark, blank and clueless. My isolated soul had set its foot with thousands of confusions about career and city life. I was excited exaggerated during the inauguration of our course.

Unfortunately, the strength of the course was 10 and it was decreased by 8 later. It is neither a good luck nor bad luck. I had very Good friends; my days were glorious and I learnt a practical lesson every day. Right from traveling in a crowded bus to traveling alone. It was a drastic change in the routine of my life. My days were magical and splendid in Chennai with friends, especially YOU.

You are the one whom I much cared about, thought about and of course dreamt of!!

I remember the very first week of our class, I was stout (!!) and giggling for every answer. No one was aware of my hidden fear about my career behind those clueless giggles. In fact, I had already seen you in social media when I browsed about our course. You seemed to be MASS!! Aren’t you?

I had already told you about the insults I faced in class. Should I mention those funny stuffs? (ROFL)You are the one who had supported me to come across those immature messes.

The seeds you had sown extend its branches with yet to ripen fruits.

By the month of April,a couple of years ago your name in my contacts got a prefix as “Best Friend” and it was preceded by other contacts.

You are my Best Friend then and forever!

Glympse of Love

The days spent with you were memorable and I still remember that funny incident; we went to Mutt thinking that it is a temple and came back seeing few elders.

One more thing, you taught me to have fast food, especially Samosas in Senthoor during android hours were awesome.

The day we went to an Orphanage for one of my friend’s birthday. It was then I started admiring your nature.

Happiness Hunt

We started exploring new places in Chennai after August- Nungampakkam CCD, temple, Brownie heaven, Papa John, and so on. Countless na?

Do you remember the day, when I had Sakkara Pongal in Durga temple located at Anandh theatre?

I liked to spend time with you, discovering Chennai, sharing thoughts – I was out of fear and hesitation.  I improved!! You made me to improve!

I am still longing to pick that “Brinjal shade” outfit for you, in which you looked Awesome that day. Aww!! That day was ridiculous na? We searched for additional stuffs, to avail a gift worthy “Estelle stud”.

After completing our Courses, when I joined as an HTML-5 trainee, I was scared that, we couldn’t catch up like before. But you made my days, specials by traveling 15kms for me.

The time you were in Bangalore was difficult to me but I waited for 2 days in a month to meet you, to spend time and to visit our favorite places.

I was longing to give Surprises too. The best moment would be, visiting your place in the early morning as a Surprise and I still remember that 1000 watts smile you made, seeing me.

It was that “gap” which made me to shift to Kerala!

Now, my dear Bestie, we are at next level of our Life to prove our capacities, improve ourselves with each other’s support. Our mission is in “Running” state too.

This anniversary, I promise you that, I will stay Happy and spread smile as much as I can, for the sake of Doughnuts!! (Lol)
